B. Eng. Hons (Technology Management) - 1999
B. Eng. (Mechanical) - 1996

Experience:
Contracted Project Manager for development of high-speed Helium blower, graphite characterization project for PBMR and development of technologically advanced biodiesel plant for M-Tech Industrial. Contracted Project Manager for the M-Tech Industrial Biodiesel Innovation Fund application.

Contracted Project Manager for the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of the High Pressure Test Unit (HPTU) plant within the Heat Transfer Test Facility (HTTF). Plant was successfully completed within time and budget on the 15th of August 2006.
Contracted Project Manager for the Concept, Basic and Detail Design of the Heat Transfer Test Facility (HTTF) Project. The purpose of the HTTF is twofold: To validate the correlations that are currently used to model the relevant heat transfer and fluid flow phenomena required for the integrated simulation of the pebble bed core, via a comprehensive set of Separate Effects Tests (SET). To generate results that may be used to validate the different simulation methodologies applied in the integrated models that represent the entire pebble bed core, via a comprehensive set of Integrated Effects Tests (IET). The Heat Transfer Facility consists of the High Pressure Test Unit (50bar) and the High Temperature Test Unit (1450°C).

Responsible for pre-proposal for funding for Industrial Plant Simulator, Innovation Fund - NRF. The proposal has been accepted by the NRF and M-Tech Industrial has started with the project. Also contracted to work as consultant, responsible to help define and document the software verification and validation processes and procedures for the development of Flownex. Project manager for the Pebble Bed Micro Model Experimental Facility. Appointed as General Manager of Coventry Climax Ltd. Coventry Climax focuses on the design, development and manufacture of specialist equipment for military, marine and aircraft applications. The Coventry Climax group of companies consists of two entities; Climax Holdings International, which manages and controls all aspects relating to intellectual property and Coventry Climax Limited which manufactures diesel and petrol engines for both the commercial and military sectors and which houses the group's engineering analysis and design capability.
