Mechanika has extensive experience in the development of first-of-a-kind electro-mechanical and composite
material products and systems and the project management of such development projects.
Through its professional network Mechanika also has access to highly skilled technical specialists for
niche projects such as composite material product design and development, pressure vessel design and
manufacturing and refrigeration & thermal fluid system design and development.
In terms of draughting Mechanika can assist with the following:
- Measure existing products and/or components and create 3-D CAD models and 2-D manufacturing drawings
- Create 3-D CAD models from existing 2-D manufacturing drawings
- Create 3-D CAD models and 2-D manufacturing drawings from your sketches
If it is design assistance you require:

Mechanika can design components, products and systems from scratch and
provide you with a detailed 3-D CAD model and a full manufacturing datapack
(full set of 2-D manufacturing drawings). Mechanika also has Structural Analysis (FEA)
and Thermal-flow analysis (CFD) capability in addition to the mechanical design capability
If the component or product needs to be manufactured Mechanika will also be able to assist:
- Mechanika will assist with the tender process (identifying potential manufacturers
and manufacturing methods, evaluating tenders etc.)
- Mechanika will oversee and manage the manufacturing process from a technical,
project management and quality control perspective
- Mechanika will assist with the commissioning of the newly manufactured product or
system if required
Mechanika provides general consulting engineering services such as general engineering problem solving,
project feasibility investigations, new product development assessments and a general mechanical and civil engineering advisory service. Mechanika provides this service across Sub-Saharan Africa and will travel to remote sites should it be required.
Should a client prefer to appoint his own subcontractors for the design and/or manufacturing &
commissioning of a product or system, Mechanika can provide a project management service to act
on the client's behalf. We believe that our experience with these types of projects enables us to add value
to the process and to ensure a quality product. As with the consulting services the project management services
could be provided across Sub-Saharan Africa should it be required.
